Welcome to International Congress 2009
International Congress, AIESECs annual leadership convention, is the biggest & most important event for AIESEC globally. Year after year after year, countries have demonstrated outstanding leadership, responsibility and innovation to conduct these high profile event. Undoubtedly, it is one of the biggest priorities forAIESEC International and an exciting challenge for the country that has the honour of hosting it.
In 2007, Malaysia won the bid to host the 61th International Congress in the year 2009, where over 500 youth leaders of national AIESEC chapters from around the world and over 100 international business leaders will congregate in Kuala Lumpur, the heart of Malaysia to discuss international issues and promote cultural understanding among member countries.
